Mom Life Meets Boutique Life (and Somehow, It Works ๐ )

๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ Life Behind the Boutique
I spend at least 30 hours a week in the store, chatting with customers, unpacking new arrivals, and making sure everything looks just right. And even on my โdays off,โ Iโm usually on my laptop at home for another 15+ hours โ planning events, answering messages, uploading new arrivals.
It never really stops, but I wouldnโt have it any other way.

๐ Chaos + Kids = Real Life
A few weeks ago, the kids were out for Winter Break, and I had a Downtown Development meeting I didnโt want to miss. So I showed up with one of my three kiddos in tow.
Was it chaotic? Yes.
Was it real life? Absolutely.

๐ Family-Powered Shop
This shop is a family business through and through.
-
My husband Matt is constantly behind the scenes running the register, cleaning the bathroom, and taking out the trash (truly the MVP).
-
Our daughter Dylan, who I swear is going to take this place over one day, loves helping ladies pick out outfits and telling them what looks good together.
-
Declan? Heโs our go-to vacuum guy and trash helper.
- Della is just a hot mess whenever she is.
Everyone pitches in, and I love that theyโre growing up seeing what it takes to build something from the ground up.

โฐ Why I Do This
My favorite part of owning a business? The freedom.
I get to drop my kids off at school, pick them up when they need me, and show up for their school events. Thatโs something Iโll never take for granted. I may be working non-stop, but Iโm also fully there for them.

๐ฌ A Note to Other Mamas
To any other moms out there juggling a hundred things at once โ hear this:
Itโs okay.
We put way too much pressure on ourselves. Most of the stuff we think we have to do? We really donโt.
The kids wonโt remember if the laundry stayed in the basket an extra day, but they will remember if we were stressed and snappy. Give yourself grace. Youโre doing just fine.
